Privacy notice

Short, because there is not much to say.

The website collects nothing from a visitor who reads it. The request form collects four things and sends them to one place. This page describes exactly that.

What the request form collects

Your name, phone number, email address, and which stage of the foreclosure process you are at. Nothing else is asked. A submission also records, as evidence of your agreement to be contacted, the time of the request, the wording you agreed to, your IP address and browser type, the page you sent it from, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you arrived by.

Please do not enter Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or confidential legal documents into the form. It is not built for them and the people who receive it do not need them to call you back.

How it is used and who receives it

We use the information to process your request and to share it with a participating New York attorney or firm for the county the property is in and the stage of your case, for a free initial evaluation and follow-up by phone call, text message or email. We work with many attorneys, not one. A single request goes to the attorney or firm for it and to the intake service that routes it.

The information is not sold to lenders, advertisers or other third parties and is not used for any purpose other than routing and following up on your request. A receiving attorney has their own privacy practices for anything you then provide directly to them.

What the website itself does

The form does not save your answers in your browser. If the request cannot be delivered to the intake service, it is stored on our own server so it is not lost and is delivered when the service is available. This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure advertising: it sets cookies from Meta and tells Meta which pages you viewed and which of the site events happened (for example that a request was sent, not what it said), under the Meta privacy policy; you can block it in your browser or through the Meta ad settings. When a request is sent, our server also reports that event to Meta with a one-way hashed (SHA-256) form of the email address and phone number you entered, so Meta can match it to an advertisement you saw; the hash cannot be turned back into your details and the details themselves are not sent. It uses Google Analytics, which sets first-party analytics cookies to count visits and tell returning visitors from new ones; Google processes that data under its own privacy policy, and you can block those cookies in your browser without affecting the site. It also uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to count page views and see which pages and referring sites bring visitors; Umami works without cookies and does not identify you by name on its own. It also records how pages are used, meaning scrolling, clicks, movement between pages and what is entered into the request form, so the site and the form can be improved; those recordings are held by us on our own analytics server, are not sold or shared with advertisers, and are used only to operate and improve this website. If you arrive through a link that carries a source tag or campaign tags (for example the Google Ads click identifier or utm codes), those tags, the page you first arrived on and the site that referred you are kept in first-party cookies for up to 90 days, so the site can show the phone number for that source and attribute your request to the campaign that brought you; they identify the link and the campaign, not you. Pages are served through a hosting and content-delivery provider that processes ordinary technical request information, such as your IP address and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Court, clerk and agency links on county pages lead to other organisations' websites, each with its own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can read every page on this site without submitting anything. If you submit a request and later do not want further contact, tell the person who contacts you, or reply to their email; the request is closed. To ask what was submitted under your name, or to have it removed from the intake service, use the request form and say so in the message field of your reply to the follow-up.

Changes

This notice describes the site as built on 2026-09-16. If the site starts storing answers, adding any analytics beyond the cookieless page counts described above, or sharing requests in a different way, this page changes at the same time and the date above moves.
